The VEMS organization was founded in 1984 and has a rich history in the Valley. The organizations is comprised of a Volunteer Board of Directors with an Executive branch, a local leadership team made up of an Executive Director and two Operations Supervisors and a team of 28 field paramedics. A Valley native has been named the new executive director of the region’s paramedic service. Robert A. Pettinella’s appointment was announced Thursday during a meeting of Valley Emergency Medical Services (VEMS). Pettinella, who lives in Oxford, replaces Jason Perillo. |
