Our Mission Statement 

Valley Emergency Medical Service (VEMS) is a not-for-profit, community-supported pre-hospital advanced life support provider.  It is committed to its patients, its employees, and the region of residents and volunteers it serves. 

VEMS is committed to regional leadership as an organization whose excitement, character, and values attract highly skilled emergency care providers who deliver excellent clinical care in a sensitive environment, aware of each patient's dignity and needs.

VEMS employees are members of a family and are central in organizational decision making.  They drive clinical practices and protocols, they know how their role in the organization makes a difference, and they realize that our patients are our highest priority.  The entire VEMS family works hard to provide an enjoyable, friendly environment for its staff.

VEMS takes a leadership role as an advocate in the towns it cares for, assisting community leaders in preserving the health and well-being of those they serve through a regional, cooperative approach to public health and safety.
